Hey guys! It’s time for another book subscription box unboxing, and this time, it’s from Once Upon A Book Club Box!

Once Upon A Book Club box is one of my ultimate book subscription box goals to have, and I was extremely happy when I got chosen as one of their May-July 2017 reps! So, before we dive onto the unboxing, let me first give you a brief information about this book subscription box.

* About Once Upon A Book Club*

Once Upon A Book Club was formed by the owner/designer Michelle Wolett of Chick Lit Designs and Once Upon a BookCase. It all started after Michelle read “The Nightingale” by Kristin Hannah. She wanted to create a reading experience where readers will feel that they are physically part of the world they’re reading.

They have two types of boxes: Adult box and Young Adult box.

*What to Expect Inside The Box *

Once Upon A Book Club box has a very cool concept. This book subscription box aims to provide a different reading experience to their subscribers. Each box includes a book, a quote print and 3-5 gifts that match a quote/line from the book on their corresponding page numbers.

* May 2017 – Time Travel Romance Once Upon A Book Club Box *

Other than OwlCrate, and FairyLoot, Once Upon A Book Club box has always been on my radar. Why? Because I keep seeing YA book subscription boxes, but no adult ones. And as a reader who’s so much into historical fiction, this is the perfect book subscription box to opt for.

They include variety of adult fictions in their monthly boxes such as historical fiction, women’s fiction, and contemporary fiction. They used to only have an adult box, but they have recently opened the YA box subscription.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my unboxing already. I’m also currently reading the featured book, so, I also unwrap gifts whenever I reach a certain page.

* May 2017 Hint *

Once Upon A Book Club revealed the hint for May 2017 box as Time Travel Romance. The book featured for this month is only released on eBooks, but got exclusively printed for Once Upon A Book Club. It means you won’t see this book in physical form anywhere else except Once Upon A Book Club May box (and in the Philippines, explained later on this post).

* What’s Inside The Box *

The May Once Upon A Book Club Box includes:

• Featured book: Love and Gravity by Samantha Sotto
• 5 wrapped gifts
• Quote print
• Once Upon a Book Club box read-along and discussion question dates

The featured book for the month of May is Love and Gravity by Samantha Sotto. This book is released in eBook format only but Once Upon A Book Club box was able to get it exclusively printed for the May box. Other than Once Upon A Book Club, it is only available in print in the Philippines.

I think it’s because Samantha Sotto is a Filipino, that’s why it’s exclusively printed for National Bookstore. Love and Gravity is currently one of the best-selling fictions in our local bookstores.

Next, we have the beautiful quote print of Ovid’s quote and the Once Upon A Book Club’s read-along and discussion question details.
