Her vengeance. His vision.
Ari lost everything she once loved when the Five Guilds’ resistance fell to the Dragon King. Now, she uses her unparalleled gift for clockwork machinery in tandem with notoriously unscrupulous morals to contribute to a thriving underground organ market. There isn’t a place on Loom that is secure from the engineer turned thief, and her magical talents are sold to the highest bidder as long as the job defies their Dragon oppressors.
Cvareh would do anything to see his sister usurp the Dragon King and sit on the throne. His family’s house has endured the shame of being the lowest rung in the Dragons’ society for far too long. The Alchemist Guild, down on Loom, may just hold the key to putting his kin in power, if Cvareh can get to them before the Dragon King’s assassins.
When Ari stumbles upon a wounded Cvareh, she sees an opportunity to slaughter an enemy and make a profit off his corpse. But the Dragon sees an opportunity to navigate Loom with the best person to get him where he wants to go.
He offers her the one thing Ari can’t refuse: A wish of her greatest desire, if she brings him to the Alchemists of Loom.
* My thoughts *
My last WoW was Crystal Crowned by Elise Kova. Guess what?!
One my most favorite authors, ever, Elise Kova is bringing yet another anticipated release this coming 2017!!! 2017… still months away, but who cares? I’m just so freaking excited.
Also, Elise said it’s not young adult… sort of. I’m having a strong feeling that this will give a slight LOTR and ASOIAF feel.
It’s coming out in January 2017, and I FREAKING RECEIVED AN ARC FROM KEYMASTER PRESS. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
I've not read anything by this author, but several of my blogging friends LOVE her books! They don't really appeal to me but I am glad that the series is so well-received. =) I hope you enjoy this book when you get a chance to read it!
Have a fabulous week. 🙂
Check out my WoW post!
If you’re a fantasy lover, you surely don’t want to miss her books. But it’s okay if it’s not your taste. We all have our personal preference after all. 🙂
Thanks for dropping by!
I haven’t heard of this author before but the book looks really good and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it! 🙂
She’s one of my most favorite authors. If you want to check here out, I suggest you check her Air Awakens series first. She published all the books from the series independently and it was a success. 🙂
