Ok. My. First. Book. Haul. Post! I’m excited! Even if there are only few books. I’m poor! Haha! Right. I haven’t read any from these books yet ‘coz I still haven’t finished my January and February haul. I’ve got 25+ books last January from the National Bookstore warehouse sale and I’m a really slow reader so I need a looooooooooooot of time, you see. By the way, it was also my first time going to the NBS warehouse sale and it was so awesome! Will definitely go back next warehouse sale!
And here goes my little haul~
I’ve only got 6 books for this month because I’m really broke and lately I’ve been spending a lot for school’s finals and OJT requirements so I’ve got to set aside the book-buying thing for a while. Got the books for cheaper prices and they are all brand new, except for Under The Never Sky which is a preloved book but in a very very good condition.
So, the first book…
As from what I remember, I discovered this book on Goodreads when I was looking through a royalty / modern-royal / YA royal genre. Somewhat like Graceling or Iron Fey series. The cover caught my eye! Then I read the synopsis. It’s pretty interesting. I also saw the book on Fullybooked which is cheaper than any other book, and the trilogy is one of their best sellers during that week (?) Lucky me! I got this for an even cheaper price. Thanks to Haul Fairy of
Bookaholic Fairies! 🙂
Got this on a bargain section of a local bookstore. Yes! I’m truly lucky when I visit bookstores! There are always SALE section and I get to find the book I’m looking for or I’m interested in. I got Wings and Illusions during the January NBS warehouse sale and I got a little sad knowing that I’ve actually missed the 2nd book. Ha! How will I even read Illusions if I don’t have Spells? And then I saw this! I just love this kind of genres. Fairies, fantasies, paranormal, urban fantasies and the likes.
Been on my to-read list on Goodreads since last year. Ah, I made my Goodreads account last year. lol. Finally got my copy! But will not read this until I get the 2nd and 3rd book. =u=)/
The very popular Eleanor and Park. Who would want to miss this? But still, I don’t want to join the wagon. Yet. I’ll read this when I’m done with PJaTO. 🙂
I don’t know about the series. When I searched it on Goodreads, wow, high ratings! I didn’t buy this. I actually got this for free. And it’s interesting. I’ll hunt the first book!!!
And last…
Okay. On my haul, this one’s probably my favorite. This is so interesting. I don’t get to read a lot of stand-alones so when someone recommended this book to me, it really caught me. You know, not the usual mainstream YAs or chiclits or dystopians. I just had to buy it. I bought this together with The False Prince. I’m so fortunate.
And that’s my March book haul! So excited to read them. I needed to speed up my reading. Seriously!
PS: I’ll be having my OJT this mid April, and I’m afraid I might buy books every week. On the ground floor of the building I will be having my internship, there’s a Book Sale store. Crap! This is bad!
