Ah! That’s a really nice way to put it. Very true on the insta-love part. When I researched about the topic, the stories I’ve read truly fascinated me.

I think that the fact that we can’t really explain love and what makes relationships work is what intrigues us on the topic. I’m not sure about insta-love myself but the internet especially Youtube has stories of couple who met and had that phenomenon.

Great review, Erika!! This is now my fave Jennifer E. Smith book but otger faves are Windfall, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, and Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between
