Unboxing: September 2017 Pouts and Fluffs LootBox

Hi everyone! It’s time for the September unboxing of Pouts and Fluffs Lootbox, a PH-based book subscription box.

I also did an unboxing post for the month of August, which you can find HERE. Since I already introduce this book subscription box to you on this blog last month, I’ll just immediately jump right into the unboxing.

* September 2017 – Wicked Hearts *

Disclaimer: I was chosen as one of the August – October 2017 reps of Pouts and Fluffs Lootbox to help unbox and promote throughout social media platforms. I received the Magical Encounters Pouts and Fluffs Lootbox directly from the the team.

This is my second PF Lootbox, and I actually guessed the book of the month correctly before it arrived to me. BUT, I’m not complaining because I LOVED the book.

If you’re following me on Instagram, you probably saw me unbox on my stories. I also already shared one unboxing photo, but here in my blog, I’ll share a more detailed unboxing.

Let’s go!

* The Theme *

The theme for September is Wicked Hearts. Villains, evil queens, beautiful princesses and dark secrets — This box features a SEPTEMBER YOUNG-ADULT book release that is just beyond a usual fantasy.

* What’s Inside The Box *

Pouts and Fluffs

The September “Wicked Hearts” includes:

  • Throne of Glass-inspired “Rattle The Stars” book sleeve and cloth bookmark by Book Shields
  • Game of Thrones-inspired “Mother of Dragons” candle by Fairy Wicks
  • Personalized bottle cap pen by Hodge Podge
  • Crown ribbon bookmark by Bookish Panda PH
  • A set of Disney Princesses-inspired bookmarks by Bookish Panda PH
  • A “Certified Bookworm” sticker
  • Snow White-inspired art print by @pauweredbyfaith
  • A kraft typography letter (I already received mine on the August box for my birthday)
  • Book fund glass jar
  • Chocolate rock candies
  • The book of the month is, Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust

The first thing that greeted me is this lovely Throne of Glass “Rattle The Stars” inspired book sleeve and fabric bookmark by Book Shields. I love the size of this one because it can fit two paperbacks.

The next thing in the box is this adorable gold jar which says “My Book Fund”. Haha. This will be useful to me because my coins are everywhere in my room.

Last August box, we had a set of candles from Fairy Wicks. For the September box, the same supplier prepared a Game of Thrones-inspired “Mother of Dragons” candle. I mentioned last time that the candles have a very faint fragrance, more like unscented rather than scented. This time, the smells of the candle is really good and fragrant. Good job guys!

Personal touch…

I love anything that has personal touch in it. So when I found this pen with my name on it, it immediately became one my favorites so far in the September box. This personalized bottle cap pen is by Hodge Podge. I already have few of their bottle cap keychains, and I just love how adorable everything they make is.

In the last box, we also had a set of ribbon bookmarks from Bookish Panda PH. Another ribbon bookmark from the same supplier is included for September box. It’s an adorable crown ribbon bookmark to go with the book of the month. Another set of Disney Princesses-inspired bookmarks are included, made by the same supplier.Then we have this lovely Snow White-inspired art print by my co-rep, @pauweredbyfaith. Isn’t it pretty?? And we got another sticker which says “Certified Bookworm”.

There’s also a kraft typography letter for each subscriber, but I already received mine on the August box for my birthday, so it’ll be redundant to have another letter “E”. They told me about this, of course. 🙂

Here are the other prints. This lovely spoiler card, the October theme which is Embrace The Darkness, and my personalized ownership card. Pouts and Fluffs improved their print quality compared to last month, which is a plus.

Before the book, of course, there’s always a treat on their monthly boxes, and for September, it’s a bottle of chocolate rock candies!

Finally the book…

The book of the month is a September release YA retelling which I already read prior to receiving this box. The book is  Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust and I LOOOOOVED this book.

READ MY REVIEW HERE

I only own an eARC because I read it for a blog tour, so I’m really happy that my guess for the September book of the month is correct. I finally have my own copy now, thanks to Pouts and Fluffs! Don’t forget to add this on your TBR because it’s amazing!

And that’s it!

I love the book of the month! The items are really good, but I do hope that the items won’t be repetitive each month. Nonetheless, it’s a pretty good September box.

The October box is already sold out but the November boxes are up for grabs. My rep term is already ending this month, but you can still get a discount using my code until November.

November 2017 Box “Flash Forward”
